Born and Raised a Baltimore kid,I have always had a fascination with art. From a young age I would ask my grandfather about his tattoos. I would imagine a dark smokey room where it all went down, a pirate looking sailor drilling away on my grandfathers arm. Well I guess it was cooler in my imagination. I was fascinated by the whole idea. I wanted to know how they did it. The military designs made me want to earn the right to wear them one day myself. So this led to Two things, a big interest in both the military and tattoos.
Now after having served eight years in the army, including a tour in Iraq in 2003 with the 101st Airborne, I have earned the right to wear those designs. While in the army I was always the one designing platoon t shirts, decorating the barracks walls with military murals and even creating tattoo designs for me and the guys to go and have tattooed. But in 2005, it was time for me to move on and begin my tattooing career. Not an easy road, but one well worth the trip.
After an informal apprenticeship and many hours of tattooing fruit and friends I was lucky enough to get hired on at Absolute Tattoo. After working with Sean and ironing out a few glitches, I was on my way. I've been lucky enough to get to know allot of great artists along the way who have helped me out tremendously. I have been creating tattoos for two years now and love every minute. I favor traditional American designs but also enjoy doing Japanese as well and basically anything loaded with color. Good solid tattoos that will last a lifetime.
