Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. My family lived in the Park Heights area until I was twelve. Then, we moved to the Lochearn/ Randallstown area. I attended Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School on Hillen Rd. After high school, I became a “normal”, nine-to-five working, tax paying member of society.
My love of tattoos began when I was fifteen or sixteen; when my Mom came home with her first one and I saw how beautiful it looked in her skin. I loved them even more when I got my first one at age eighteen. The feeling of the needle in the skin and the hum of the machine excited and intrigued me. That feeling has never faded.
Working for someone else never sat well with me. So I decided that since I love being tattooed and have been fascinated by them and the entire process of applying them, why not take the leap and do them myself?
Me being me; naturally, when hit with this epiphany, I jumped at the opportunity. I did some research and went out plugging for an apprenticeship with some of my artwork. Within a week, I met Sean at Absolute Tattoo. He saw potential in me and agreed to teach me.
For the first time in my life, I am excited about what I’m doing, and am completely comfortable where I am. Sean and I like to call it synchronicity.
